Connecting Ideas
We believe it is helpful for students to be told about how a current topic links to future topics. We will tell you that certain things in Algebra are more important that the other things taught in Algebra because they reappear when we build a Vector Space. We will tell you that almost everything you learn in Linear Algebra is used in Tensor Calculus, so much so that we might jokingly rename the course Pre-tensor Calculus.
